HARRY’S LAW returns this Wednesday September 21, 2011 with lots of new faces to kick off the premiere of it’s second season.
Mark Valley
Mark Valley formerly of Human Target a show we loved and were sad to see cancelled by the heavy ax at FOX will join the cast of Harry’s Law. Not only will he add a little eye candy for the ladies but his addition will also change the dynamic of the show, which is something it needs. Valley plays hot shot attorney Oliver Richard who works for the law firm that fired Harry (Kathy Bates) last year.
Over the summer the Harry’s Law firm apparently became successful and the show moves to a hip, swanky loft.
We were surprised that Harry’s Law wasn’t cancelled last year as the ensemble cast didn’t mesh very well together. Kathy Bates who is a fantastic actress just fell short of believability and by the time the other characters started developing the season was over.
In the season opener Hosanna Roseanna Harry against her better judgment, agrees to defend Eric Sanders (Alfred Molina), a man accused of savagely killing his wife. She takes the case at the request of Oliver Richard (Mark Valley). The extremely high-profile case brings Harry toe-to-toe with the head honcho herself, D.A. Roseanna Remmick (Jean Smart, Hawaii Five-0, 24). Meanwhile, new associate Cassie Reynolds (Karen Olivo) represents an artist whose painting was unceremoniously altered by the purchaser. Elsewhere, the hilarious Tommy Jefferson (Christopher McDonald), forces his way into sharing Harry’s new office space and pursues a box store giant, vying to be their local counsel in a huge class action lawsuit.
Nate Corddry and Brittany Snow remained part of the cast with Alfred Molina (Law & Order: LA) guest starring.
