The first sneak peek video of ‘The Lucky One’ was just released today April 6, 2012 by Warner Bros. ‘The Lucky One’ tells the story of U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Zac Efron) after he returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq to his home in Colorado.
The video shows Sergeant Thibault under fire in Iraq where he notices something in the rubble. Efron’s character walks to the object, picks it up and as he turns to continue, an explosion happens in the spot where he would have been had he not stopped to pick up the photograph. He learns the identity of the girl in the photo and feels that he was meant to find her.
Your first peek at Beth (Taylor Schilling) is when she meets Logan and trys trying to understand why he would drive all the way from Colorado to North Carolina to get a job at her family-run kennel. He says he didn’t drive, he walked to meet this woman who in a strange and miraculous way saved his life in Iraq.
Blythe Danner plays Ellie, Beth’s mother who tells her daughter to believe in the power of love and fate dispite of all the complications in her life.
Zach Efron is known for many roles including all three of the “High School Musical” movies, “Hairspray,” “17 Again,” “Charlie St. Cloud.”
Taylor Schilling is a relative newcomer with her most memorable role being in the one season TV show “Mercy” and the movie “Atlas Shrugged: Part 1″
